A few pictures from last week as the kids and I were out enjoying the nice weather.

Family Day. It was the best long weekend ever! We didn't have any plans, no places we had to be so we really got to enjoy the weekend and the time together with whatever we felt like doing. Most of it was spent hanging out at home together. Family day we did some errands and relaxed around the house. With the kids not sleeping both Travis and I have been lacking sleep and even though he will probably kill me I just had to post the picture :)

Trav had been playing a game with Aly prior to snack time and they were hiding lemur on each other but Travis was overcome and fell asleep with lemur. Awe, isn't he cute?! Can't you just see the sweet little boy that he must have been at one time. Emerson looks a lot like that when he sleeps :)
5 days a week there is open gym time at Cardel place for kids 6 and under. We have been there a number of times but we have started to make it a weekly trip with Nana and Grandpa. Each time we go there is a different set up with all kinds of things for the kids to run, jump, climb etc.
Alyssa and Emerson have been dying for this kind of space to be free to use up their energy.
Aly says to me before we go one day.... "Mama I am going to Cardel. I will be shy then I will share and take turns and hug my friends and all the Mommy's and Daddy's will clap and say Yay Alyssa" LOL. She is so cute.

Aly has so much fun with this thing, she just launches herself over it.

Nana taking the kids for a ride on the parachute. We play with it the normal way too with all the parents holding on and the kids run underneath it and back out again. Most of the time its safe and fun for everyone but we have seen a few kids run full force into eachother when they're not looking.

Waiting her turn :)
Catching Emerson at the bottom of the slide.
Emerson and Nana. Emer doesn't like to wait he just wants to go, go, go!
Alyssa is also in love with the little trampoline.

Emerson isn't always sure what to think of all the kids running around. He's starting to get more into it and loves the things he can climb up on all by himself.
Valentine's Day at the Head house.
Travis bought us all Valentine cards, I made cards for Travis and the kids and we did a super cute Valentine for Travis with Aly's traced hands cut out and paper measuring her arm span inside saying "I love you THIS MUCH"
Emerson entertaining us with his mad musical skills.

"PANCAKES!"
Travis and Aly making pancakes for breakfast.
Alyssa refusing to wear anything but pjs. Here she is yelling- what else is new?! Emerson is stretching, i'm not sure why.
Sticking tongues out at Mommy.
Finally a smile.
Scream!
Everything Aly can do I can do too!

Alyssa is now allowed to play on the computer. The excellent recommendation comes from Joanne and Teagan- thanks! http://www.starfall.com/ It has all kinds of games for learning letters and early reading. Alyssa can move around the site all by herself its so child friendly. She's only been on it for a few days and is starting to recognize more letters by sight.

Some craft time in the head household. Alyssa is stamping and we're letting Emerson have a try at colouring with crayons. We learned with Aly was this age that its helpful to have the soother in their mouth while colouring, that way they are less likely to try and eat the crayons :)

The nice days have been way too far and few between over this winter so whenever it warms up we jump at the chance of getting outside. There is nothing like rounding up and organizing 7 children 3 and under into jackets, shoes etc to go to the park. LOL!
Thankfully 2 of them were Carley's.
