The Blur

Aly is learning her numbers when she's not being silly she'll count from 1-5! But what she really likes counting for 1,2,3 Go! This girl will do anything to run :)

Snow Time

Alyssa and Daddy playing with Achilles in the backyard. Aly
had a good time bundled up in the snowy weather. The pictures turned out decent considering i'm inside and these are through the window.

Beautiful pictures of our family taken by the very talented Jenny- check out her blog link on the left. Gingersnap Photography. Emerson was just a week old.

Pictures of Alyssa, Emerson and Rowan.

Rowan is the newest cousin in our family, she was born 10 days before Emerson on December 21st. Her big brother Griffin was MIA when I took these pics. Next time we get together i'll make sure to get one of all of them.

I don't have too many good pics of them since Emerson and Rowan decided to take turns crying and fussing, next time i'll take pictures at the beginning of the visit not when everyone is tired.

So here are some updates with a bunch of pictures, i'm sorry its all over the map and out of sync but that's how my brain is kind of working these days :) Things are great, I love having my two kiddos and having this time off with them has been crazy but a whole lot of fun. Now that my computer is up and running again I promise to try and keep current with the updates every week.

Alyssa has been doing very well with having such a change in her life. First her friends stopped coming when I took time off from the Day Home, then Christmas, and then a baby brother. Here is a look at some of my favorite pictures of Alykins over the last 6 weeks.

Just getting into the fun that comes with dressing up. Here is Princess Aly putting on some jewels.

Watch out boys, she'll make you join in the fun too! That means you Daddy and Grandpas!

Hanging out with Puppy and watching some Diego early one morning.

Telling Mommy which way we should go to see more animals (our trip to the zoo last thursday)

The very fake cry because I want to get a picture of her smiling and she is sick of me and my camera.

Walking around at the zoo.

Playing with the oven mitts.

I love watching Alyssa, she loves to imitate or to make up her own little jokes. Here she put on our oven mitts because the oven is "Hot!" and I had them out while making dinner. She claps her hands and laughs because she knows that's not what they're really for. I start singing "If you're happy and you know it clap your hands" Aly laughs more and claps along :)

Aly running- which she prefers to walking.

Waiting for us to catch up.

I love this pic! I took it at the zoo just in front of the camels. Aly was saying "Wow! and Oohh!"

Cute pic of my Monkey playing with Daddy, she makes us snacks with interesting combinations of veggies and fruits.

We're Going to the Zoo!

Emerson's first trip to the zoo at only 2 weeks old, we couldn't resist- the weather was great!

Very cool Red Panda!

Mommy and Aly still having fun. Alyssa walked the entire zoo as usual, but it was a record time of 4hrs! We were highly impressed of our girl, the summer will be great for hiking!

The not so little baby tiger born last May.

Aly on Daddy's shoulders to get a better view of the tigers playing.

Alyssa made us stop to look at the ducks now that she can say "Duck!" when you ask her what they say she responds "Duck, Duck" 'cause she can't say "Quack" yet- so cute!

Emerson hanging out with the elephants.

Aly finally let me take a pic of her with the elephants in the back ground, she was so busy watching she was getting mad I was taking her attention away from them.

Emerson all bundled up.

The lemur was on a branch right in front of us! Everytime I see the lemurs all I can think about is the movie Madagascar with the crazy lemur king. "I like to move it, move it"

Emerson- 6 Weeks

Time has certainly flown by! Here are some pictures over the last 6 weeks of Emerson, he sure has changed a lot! Check out those chubby cheeks :)
